In the long history of human living, drinking safety is a critical issue. Even in today’s area of Africa and Asia, clean drinking water is still in challenge. In Europe and Australia, tap water went through pipes directly into the living houses. And local regulation on water equipment is strict according to CE or Watermark standards. In North and South American countries, people have a history of making beer at home. The home brewing equipment also cannot use the copper brazed plate heat exchanger. It cannot be used as a water chiller because it contains copper, forbidden to contact food or drinks.

For those cases, previously, nickel brazed plate heat exchanger is a replacement option, but it has a disadvantage in the cost. The tap water equipment or beer brewing machinery is quite expensive, preventing market acceptance in ordinary households and further hindering large-scale production.

HFM supplied the fusion-bond brazed plate heat exchangers for those clients. The all stainless steel solution helps clients control the cost and make safe drinking secured.
